Director Jogi Prem Lashes Out at Darshan Fans: Why Did He Say 'Ninne Bekitta'?

Amid preparations for the release of the film KD, director Jogi Prem openly shared his views on his song, troll culture, and Darshan fans. He strongly condemned trolling against women and also introduced his mother’s desi ghee business.

Renowned director Jogi Prem held a press conference recently while preparing for the release of his film KD. During this event, he shared details about a song he sang for the movie Life to Day. “They asked me to sing a song. I had suggested getting someone else to sing it, but the lyrics were good,” Prem said.

“People tell me not to sing too much. So, I only sing selected songs. I have sung a romantic song titled ‘Ninne Bekitta’ in a folk style,” he elaborated.

Speaking indirectly about Darshan fans, Prem remarked, “Trollers do it to fill their stomachs. If they earn a few bucks from it, why should we oppose them?” However, he emphasized that no one should troll in a derogatory manner.

In particular, he strongly condemned trolling women in a bad way. “Let them talk about men; they can handle it somehow. But no one should troll women in a bad way,” Prem clarified.

During the same event, Prem also shared information about his mother’s desi ghee business. “We make chemical-free ghee at my mother’s farm. I wish everyone well,” he said. He recalled that the business started when his mother couldn’t find fresh ghee. “The money I earn from singing will be given to others,” he added.

Speaking about Darshan, Prem noted that TV viewership spikes when Darshan appears. “Only Darshan knows his pain. Some sadists abuse him after seeing him. Only he knows how much pain he has endured,” he said.
